Aubry Burttschell is a 20 year old San Marcos, TX native. She went to Wimberly High School playing basketball as a shooting guard. Aubry then met her now boyfriend. Aubry is a junior at Texas State University pursuing her Bachelors of Science in Public Relations. She came to Texas State believing business was the career for her. After a few classes, she realized her true passion is Public Relations.  She works at Creeds and Crests, a popular embroidery shop.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her cat, Milo.  Aubry says she is very family orientated.

20-year-old Reginald Jones is a junior majoring in electronic media under the school of mass communication at Texas State University. Originally from Waco, Texas, Jones decided he could expand his horizons by moving to a school that not only provides him with an artistic outlet, but also where he can be near to Austin, Texas. Outside of class, Jones produces music videos for artists of all kinds of genres. Alongside being a music video producer, Jones creates music that reflects his admiration for rap, hip hop, and r&b artists such as The Weeknd, Travis Scott, and Kanye West. After graduation, Jones plans on moving forward with his career as a music video producer as well as venturing into his own artistic side through song writing.

Kamron Selby is a 22 year old Texas native. Selby  originally  graduated from Lockhart High school where he played starter for his football team. This is where Selby found his love for sports . Today, Selby is a junior at Texas State University where he is pursuing a degree in Sports Media. “I really have a passion for it” Selby said. Sports Media was not his first choice however, “I originally wanted to be a teaching coach”, Selby explained, “but in the end, you have to do what you love”. When asked what his dream job would be he replied, “A sports writer for football games”. Selby looks forward to graduation so he can begin his career in the sports writing field.  Jameson Dunn jtd87@txstate.edu

After graduating high school in 2017, Samantha Kaiser moved from Port Arthur, Texas to attend Texas State University. Currently in her sophomore year, Kaiser is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Public Relations. When she is not hard at work studying, Kaiser enjoys hiking and any activity that requires her to be outdoors. Kaiser also takes pride in her Instagram account where she showcases her photography skills and passion for travelling. This past year alone she has been on over 30 flights! After graduating from Texas State, Kaiser hopes to incorporate her love of adventure into her professional career and become an event planner for Google or a flight attendant.

Edna Gonzalez is a junior at Texas State University. She is a 25-year-old Digital Media Innovations major who was born and raised in Port Arthur, Texas, a small town outside of Houston, Texas. Gonzalez started as a computer science major at Lamar University, located in Beaumont, Texas, where she realized her potential was too great for the university's courses.  "I feel like I wasn't really pushing myself to the limit, so I had to move," she replied after being asked for a reason she chose Texas State. After being asked about her change in majors, she replied, "after I moved, I had to take a different set of computer science and math classes and I didn't want to do that again." Edna is now learning how to code and plans to be proficient in time for graduation. 

Dejai Walton is a 21 year old student majoring in General Mass Communications at Texas State. She is currently a junior at Texas State and works at the H-E-B in Kyle, Texas. Initially Walton did not plan to go to college, but after her mother filled out applications to multiple universities she found herself attending Texas State. She now loves going to school and is excited to learn in a culturally diverse environment. Walton states that “knowledge is power”, and she definitely lives up to that motto.Walton is fluent in two other languages. She speaks spanish and knows how communicate in American Sign Language. Not only is she trilingual, she also plays the guitar, drums, and the piano. In the future Walton wants to travel to learn more about different countries and cultures. Walton hopes to pick up another latin based language.

Tyra Williams is a full-time Texas State student studying Electronic Media with a focus on Theatre and Film. Although Williams and her family moved around frequently as she was growing up, Williams considers the city of Kyle to be her home. At just 21 years old, Tyra knows what she wants to pursue once graduated. She initially sought for an RTF degree, also known as Radio, Television, and Film. Unfortunately, Texas State does not have an RTF degree, so in an effort to stay true to her dreams, Williams picked a major that was similar. Williams plans to use her degree to get creative with filming, and acting anyway she can. "I want to act, direct write, produce, anything I can do to stay connected to film," Williams stated. For Williams, acting is her main goal, when she was in high school she instantly was drawn to the stage. "The more people the better, I feed off of the energy of the crowd," said Williams.
